My name is Jeff Braaten and I work on the EPX team at Microsoft. Among other things, we’re responsible for your MSDN and TechNet experience including Subscriptions, Forums, Blogs, Wikis, Code Gallery, Connect and the Library. We also build the Help Viewer that ships with Visual Studio.
The purpose of this blog is to provide the Microsoft technical community with insight into new features and the long-term direction of the Microsoft Help System, including the Help Viewer, the MSDN/TechNet Libraries and the MTPS publishing platform. Where are we headed and why?
I welcome suggestions and questions. Please note:
- When posting a comment, please provide your email address. Your email address is *not* shared with other visitors to the site and it gives me an opportunity to ask clarifying questions before I post a response.
- Commenting on each post is open for 180 days. After that, you may wish to send me email.
- I make an attempt to answer every reasonable question. If I don’t respond publicly it’s usually because I don’t have a helpful answer or because I can’t yet share the answer.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
